Many Miracles!!

This week went a lot better. I was not as sick which was good.
Monday we had p day and we didn't do much just got a lot done that needed to get done

Tuesday we taught a lot of lessons and we went tracting. it was really cool because we visit with one of our less actives named rossetta and a couple time the week we do service for her and we go fill up buckets of water with her. and while doing that this week there was another lady there named mellissa and she talked to us then she said hey are you Mormon missinoaries and we said ya then she   talked about how she used to live in Utah and how she thought the Mormon culture was cool. and how she had a friend give her a book of Mormon. so we kept talking to her about it. Then I asked if we could come by to teach her more and right away she said YES I WOULD LOVE TO LEARN MORE. so we set up an apt for Friday. it was really cool though because her friend who gave her a book of Mormon didn't know that she would meet with missionaries in a few years and its cool cuz the lord has been preparing her for us.

Wednesday we had zone training. and we taught a lot of lessons then we went to a relief society party. we also found out someone got murdered in our area... right out side one of our recent converts house that we work with. so we are not allowed in that area when its dark outside. good thing we have the spirit which was tell us if we are safe to be in certain areas during the day :)

Thursday we taught a couple lessons. we were in for a lot of the day because my comp was sick in bed. but we were able to go out for a little bit which was good.

Friday we weekly planned. and we also taught lessons

Saturday we taught lessons. and we had coordination meeting and found out we were getting a new ward mission leader. we also taught mellissa and that lesson went really good. we taught her the plan of salvation because she was talking about loved ones who have passed away and the lesson went really well.

sunday we had ward counsil then we had church and we taught some lessons.

our baptism for January 25 isn't going to happen we haven't been able to get in with Kathy in a while she hasn't been keeping her apt. :( but our baptism on feb 15 will most likely happen which we are excited for laura is so excited and she just keeps getting more and more excited.
Everything is going good. and we are seeing so many miricles. I am so grateful I get to be serving a mission this is an amazing experience!!!!

Baptism's to come!!

On Tuesday my comp and I set our investigator Kathy for baptism for January 25!! it was cool because it was our first lesson with her and she was just telling us she wants peace in her life and she knows this is were she will get it.
This week was sooooo cool. On Saturday we found 4 new investigators!!!!! it was crazy the lord is blessing us like crazy.
Sunday we had such a really cool fast and testimony meeting. before church we went to ward council and the bishop was talking to the ward counsil asking how can we get the lord to trust our ward with his children (so how can we get blessed with new investigators and members at our church) and the conclusion was to just show the lord that you will love them and to fellow ship and become friends with our investigators we bring. So then during fast and testimony meeting my comp and I have our investigator and her grandson sitting with us and 3 of our less actives sitting with us also. and One of our less actives gets up to bare her testimony and it was soooooo powerful the room was just filled with the spirit and she talked about how she has had her life with the gospel and with out it and how she wants to have it back in her life. Then 10ish min later. our investigators stands to bear her testimony and we were surprised the spirit just took over her and she went up and she talked about how she has been having a hard time and how being there today she knew this church is for her. Then she said I WANT TO BE BAPTIZED. my comp and I were sitting there with our moths wide open and we had huge smiles on our faces. and it felt like the whole ward just looked back at us. it was soooo cool. we have been working with her for a really long time and she knows its true she has just been afraid of making the step to be baptized. it was sooo cool. we were speechless and the whole sacrament was like crying cuz the spirit was sooo strong. and it was amazing. so after church my comp and I went to her house and we set laura for baptism. for feb 22. we have to wait for her back to heal from surgery so that's why its in a couple months. but we are praying her back will heal fast. it was the coolest experience ever. Then after sacrament meeting we had everyone sorronding us and our investigators and less actives and so they felt all loved and like they belonged. it was soooo cool!!!!
So winter hit Nebraska and it is freezing here!!! and school got cancled for all the kids cuz it was sooo cold. my comp and I went running the bike trail with a member this morning we were frozen. but it was sooooo much fun!!!
will I love ya all and I hope everything is going well!!!!

He trained on the attonment. and he talked about the sacrifice we all are making for being away for chrsitmas and told us how blessed we are going to be and how this is going to be a very memeorable Christmas for us all. Then we had a few other trainings. Then we had lunch. Then president announced it was time for the gentile activities hahaha it was funny. Then we had a talent show. which was really funny. Then we had a giant white elephant game which was fun. and president and sister Weston had us all line up so they can give us each a Christmas gift from them to us and so they could hand it to us indivually and wish us all a merry chirstmas indeiviually. They gave us a book of all of our conversion stories it was really cool. Then they gave the sisters a pair of knitted slippers. one of the sisters here in Nebraska. Her mom knitted a pair of slippers for every sister out in Nebraska which was very nice. Then they gave the elders a bag of cookies. So it was a lot of fun!!! the zone conference was sooo much fun!!!

Thursday we talked to one of our less actives who is struggling right now. and we told her that if she came to church on sundayshe will be able to see a change in her life and we promised her that. Then that night we got a call from her telling us all this goodnews that was happening and that everything is already changing and that she is going to church because havenly fqather is already blessing her. SO that was really cool. My comp and I got to see that promise blessings do work!!!! then we helped people move out of a house and we helped them load a truck.
Friday my zone went to the temple. Then they had us meet at the stake center. and we all road in the transfer van to Omaha. and we went to the temple. which was soo much fun!! I think this is my fav zone. they are all a lot of fun!!!! tongith the yankie hill sister came to sleep over at our apartment. They are staying with us for a week because they live with memebers and the members son came home for the holidays. SO they are staying with us till he leaves. so for about a week. We are so exicited it is so much fun having them with us!!!!!!!
Saturday we had a apt with our investigator who is getting surgrey on Tuesday on her back. and the elders in the ward and our ward mission leader came by to give her a preisethood blessing. and right before they came she was crying and said she cant walk and cant feel her leg because her back hurts sooo much. and that her leg was really swollen. and right after the priesthood blessings we taught her a lesson. and at the end of the lesson the swelling and redness was gone and she ssaid her leg didn't hurt at all anymore. which was really cool
Sunday we went back to our investigaotrs house to see how she was doing. and so I could frencch braid her hair for her before suregery. and she was telling us ever since the priesthood blessing her leg hasn't hurt at all! it was soooo cool

Really cool story!!

Hey everyone
So the elders in our ward told us this really cool story this last week. They told us that on Wednesday they decided that they really wanted to find service project really bad so they decided to pray really hard hoping that they will find service. and that same day a less active that we work with told us she needed some big things moved out of her yard and she asked us if we could get a hold of the elders to see if they could move it for her. So i sent a text to the elders asking them if they could do service for her. Which was really cool because they got the message i sent 10 min after they finished praying for service. and then they went outside in service cloths and they found so many people to do service for and they ended up doing service like the whole day. They said it was really cool and how receiving the message from us was an anser to there prayers. it was a really neat experience i thought
Tuesday we went and we taught a lot of lessons and we went and tried to find people.
Wednesday. We had zone training. which was really fun. we have a really good zone and we had a lot of good trainings. we taught our progressing investigator and she told us she didn't want to change and she doesn't belive she can change, and my comp and i were able to  tell her that she can change and its not to late to change. and she belived us so now this week we are hoping to start seeing a lot of progression in her. After that we went on exchanges with pioneer sisters. And we went to a dinner apt and they had a dog that looked just like oakly it was sooooo cute!!! after the dinner apt we tried to find people which we didn't have to much success which was alright.
Thursday we went on exchanges with nebraksa city sisters. They had two houses that they have been painting so we went and painted with them. then we traveled to Omaha and went on exchanges with elkhorn sisters. and that was a lot of fun we taught some good lessons and talked to a lot of nice people.
Friday we went on exchanges with lakeview sisters. they are really nice. we taught lessons and we had a lot of fun. we had a dinner apt that night and the daughter is turning in her mission papaers so she was asking us advise and stuff like that and she was just asking what she can do to prepare. it was a really fun dinner apt and she was really nice. She wrote our emails down so she could email us when she gets her call.
Saturday morning we did studies with the elkhorn sisters then we left and president called and said that there are some former missionaries that came back to visit the mission and he told us we could go to lunch with them. because they were super close to my compainion. So we went out to lunch with them and it was a lot of fun they were really funny!! after that we went to the trail center to drop some papers off. and one of the sisters i came out with i could tell she was struggling and having a hard time so i had a feeling to pull her to the side and talk to her and it was really cool cuz as i talked to her the spirit just spoke through me and told her exactly what she needed to hear. it was really cool. Saturday night we had ward correlation which was really good.

I love you all and hope everyone is doing really well!!!
love
