Miranda is in Fremont

so this week was good in fremont. we taught a lot of lessons which was great!!!!
Monday was p day and we just rested. and that night we taugh some lessons.
Tuesday we taught a lot of lessons and we tried people.
Wednesday we had district meeting which was fun. it was really cool meeting all the new missionairs in my new district. we have to travel a little less then an hour on Wednesdays for district meeting which is kind of crazy because in Lincoln we were right by the church.
Friday we had kind of a crazy experience. we had some people let us in and they told us to sit down so we did and we thought they were interested... but they pretty much just wanted to bible bash with us and tell us that there is no way the book of Mormon could be true. it was really cool though because we stayed calm and we just testified and you could feel the spirit working through us. and even though they are not new investigators it was cool because the holy ghost did soften there hearts a little bit. by the end they were telling us how grateful they are for us to have the couage to go out and share what we belive and they were telling us they admire us for that at the end. so it was cool because the holy ghost worked really strongly thorugh us which was cool.
Saturday we had coordination meeting and we drove out to valley to go see less actives out there. which was a fun drive
sunday was my first sunday in this ward and it was a lot of fun. the ward is small but they are all very sweet.
that was our week it was really good. we are working with a lot of investigators but none are really prorgressing. but we have some that might start progressing soon
love ya all

Life is good in Nebraska!!

his week was sooo fun.
Monday was p day we played tennis all day which was a lot of fun!!!
Tuesday was a normal tracting all day
Wednesday we had distrtict meeting and all through district meeting I didn't feel good. but I just ignored it, and after we were at district lunch and my comp and the Mahoney and neb city sisters told me that my face is turning as white as snow and they felt my head and I had a huge fevor. so my comp and I got sent home for me to sleep and rest.
Thursday was good we just tracted the whole day :) and we did a lot of yard work and service for members which was a  lot of fun. we also painted a garage.
Friday we had exchanges I stayed in Lincoln and my comp went to Fairview. and I was with sister Youngberg. we were able to find 3 new investitagtors which was really cool. and we found a lost sheep:) but we had a cool experience. we were walking down the road and a former lived up the road and her son was outside and he saw us and starts yelling my ladies my ladies come here (that's what he calls us so its weird) so we come over and he says my dad past away of cancer yesterday and my mom is inside and she needs you. so we go in. and they asked us if we could pray with them. so we said a prayer and they were just crying at the end of the prayer. so we were able to teach them a little bit of the plan of salvation and they are now investigating again and we are excited to teach them. it just showed us that if we are obideint and have faith this heavenly father will put is were we need to be at just the right time!!!
Saturday we weekly planned then did service then tracted. :) Saturday night our fav sisters moved back in with us again for 3 days (haha this is the 3 time they have lived with us) and so we are happy that we are able to hang out with them again!!!
sunday we had ward conference which was really good.
I love ya'll and hope I hear from you soon

Big Changes!!

So Monday night we get a call from the AP's and they said they have some news for us and they tell us the yankee hill sisters will be living with us for the next 2 weeks so we get super excited. then they said oh and you two starting tomorrow morning are no longer the trendwood sisters you are the holmeslake sisters...... (transfers aren't for 3 weeks so we were super confused) they said that president has prayed a lot about it and he wants us to close trendwood for sisters (so we are the last sisters in this area. no more will serve there) and he wants us to open up holmelake for sisters. (so we will be the first sisters in holmeslake) and they sadi that president is forsure about this change. and so there are people in holmeslake who need us. :) so they told us to get everything ready to be turned over to the trendwood elders. and they told us we can finish out our apt this week but no tracting or anything else. and they said we can also finish working with our progressing investigator. They also said we will be moving out of our apartments in the next two to three weeks. and we will be moving into the holmeslake area but till then we will have to travel to that area.
Tuesday we had a huge snow storm and the cars got grounded. (which means there is to much snow and its the dangerous to drive) so they ground all the mission cars. and we cant walk to holmes lake because the holmeslake elders didn't call us back yet so we didn't have a map of the area. so we just finished some apt in trendwood then we finished the areabook and got it ready to turn over to the elders.
Wednesday the cars were grounded for half the day. because of that we just did the same thing asTuesday and we walked to our less actives houses to say bye
Thursday we had district meeting. we went an hour early to talk with the holmes lake elders and they gave us a map and they informed us about the area and people.
Friday we worked in holmes lake during the day. then we went to trendwoods chili feed cuz we took our investigator who is getting baptized on the 15 then after that the trendwood elders gave her her baptism interview. (the elder is the distrtict leader) she passed the interview and is getting baptized forsure on the 15 whooooo!!!!!
satruday we worked In holmes lake all day
sunday we went to church at holmeslake for the first time!! they have been asking for sisters for a really long time so everyone was sooo excited and welcoming us like crazy it was soooo fun. I love this ward they are sooo nice and so caring. I love it. they are so excited for us to be in this ward. it was really cool after church our wml gave us blessings to help us adjust to all these changes that are happening so fast. and after the blessing he gave me he said that he had a really strong feeling that we are in this area cuz the ward needs me. and he just kept saying the ward needs me. so it was really cool
So that was our crazy week but it was amazing. lots of changes happened. and now my comp sis curfew and I are now the holmeslake sisters and we get to open up the area. we are excited to see whats going to happen next

Many Miracles!!

This week went a lot better. I was not as sick which was good.
Monday we had p day and we didn't do much just got a lot done that needed to get done

Tuesday we taught a lot of lessons and we went tracting. it was really cool because we visit with one of our less actives named rossetta and a couple time the week we do service for her and we go fill up buckets of water with her. and while doing that this week there was another lady there named mellissa and she talked to us then she said hey are you Mormon missinoaries and we said ya then she   talked about how she used to live in Utah and how she thought the Mormon culture was cool. and how she had a friend give her a book of Mormon. so we kept talking to her about it. Then I asked if we could come by to teach her more and right away she said YES I WOULD LOVE TO LEARN MORE. so we set up an apt for Friday. it was really cool though because her friend who gave her a book of Mormon didn't know that she would meet with missionaries in a few years and its cool cuz the lord has been preparing her for us.

Wednesday we had zone training. and we taught a lot of lessons then we went to a relief society party. we also found out someone got murdered in our area... right out side one of our recent converts house that we work with. so we are not allowed in that area when its dark outside. good thing we have the spirit which was tell us if we are safe to be in certain areas during the day :)

Thursday we taught a couple lessons. we were in for a lot of the day because my comp was sick in bed. but we were able to go out for a little bit which was good.

Friday we weekly planned. and we also taught lessons

Saturday we taught lessons. and we had coordination meeting and found out we were getting a new ward mission leader. we also taught mellissa and that lesson went really good. we taught her the plan of salvation because she was talking about loved ones who have passed away and the lesson went really well.

sunday we had ward counsil then we had church and we taught some lessons.

our baptism for January 25 isn't going to happen we haven't been able to get in with Kathy in a while she hasn't been keeping her apt. :( but our baptism on feb 15 will most likely happen which we are excited for laura is so excited and she just keeps getting more and more excited.
Everything is going good. and we are seeing so many miricles. I am so grateful I get to be serving a mission this is an amazing experience!!!!
